Happy April Fool's Day, everybody! We're celebrating by releasing TWO episodes, and boy do the movies suck.

Our first up is ANNA's most despised movie: the remake--Clash of the Titans (2010) and for April Fool's Day, we're switching things up. Anna will have to take the PRO on the movie she can't stand, but cannot say ANYTHING NEGATIVE or else she gets a penalty. Will KATRINA have pity and take it easy on Anna? Listen and find out!

Our second movie to celebrate April 1st is the one KATRINA hates the most. Loathes entirely! It's the 2001, what-the-hell-were-they-thinking, sequel to an actually great movie, (Silence of the Lambs) Ridley Scott's Hannibal.

ANNA is gonna try with all her might to get a button push off that crafty Katrina, but it's not gonna be easy.

Go you, Rockford Peaches and all hail Penny Marshall’s 1992 endearing baseball classic: A League of Their Own! This week is all about Tom Hanks as alcoholic, washed up ex-ballplayer turned women’s baseball coach, Jimmy Dugan; Geena Davis as the fiercely loyal and talented, Dottie; and Lori Petty as Dottie’s sister.

KATRINA- is the PRO on this one and she thinks she’ll be able to hit this one out of the park, strike Anna out, and other baseball puns.

ANNA- is the CON this week and she just needs to stick to the plan—don’t get a button push and don’t cry!

Grab your hats for bats, questionable haircuts, and lots of sleeveless shirts, because this week the sisters celebrate the 1989 brilliant baseball comedy: Major League!

ANNA- is rounding the bases as the PRO this episode and she's ready to share some great trivia and talk sports. Really, she is! Will she knock it out of the park? Listen and find out.

KATRINA- is taking the CON again on a sports movie, somehow, but she's prepared to take it on and score and easy win.

This week the sisters are exploring everyone's favorite movie about whispering dead baseball player ghosts with 1989's heartwarming classic: Field of Dreams!

ANNA- is the PRO and is gonna try a different tactic on Katrina this week; talk about James Earl Jones as much as possible. Will it be enough to get Katrina to slip up? Listen to find out!

KATRINA- is the CON and the struggle was reality this week, because how in the world can anyone attack this beautiful movie??? She doesn't like it, but she doesn't like button pushes more.

This episode is a deep dive into the whimsical world of Robert Altman's 1980 musical, Popeye! Starring Robin Williams, Shelley Duvall, Ray Walston, and a massive cast of character actors and physical performers, this movie is very near and dear to the sisters. Also something near and dear to them is tequila. Both were being celebrated fully this week.

ANNA- is the PRO this week and boy is Katrina in for a ride because Anna is coming to the table with loads of trivia and an itchy trigger finger on the big red button.

KATRINA- is taking the CON but she ain't happy about it. As long as she can avoid talking about Robin Williams, Shelley Duvall, Bill Irwin, the wonderful songs, or the adorable baby she should be fine.

Turn that hat backwards, this week's episode takes the sisters to the high stakes world of 1980's arm wrestling with 1987's Over the Top!

KATRINA- is the PRO and wants to get a button push on Anna, but honestly just wants to talk about how incredibly rad this movie is.

Who's ready for some songs about doin' it? Turns out, a whole lot of people. This week, the sisters unpack the 1982 cult favorite: Grease 2!

KATRINA- is the PRO and she's feels confident she'll get a button push, and she won't even need to resort to trickery...Anna can't resist the love she has for Grease 2 songs. Walk in the park.

ANNA- absolutely hates taking the CON, but rules is rules, and she'll reluctantly do her best. [Sigh....]

This week it's time to head to the Wild, Wild West as the sisters break down the 1993 western starring Kurt Russel, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliot, Bill Paxton, Dana Delaney, Powers Boothe, Michael Biehn, and so many more: Tombstone!

ANNA: saddles up as the PRO this episode and there's trivia in dem hills! Thanks to Val Kilmer, she's positive she can trick Katrina into a button push.

KATRINA: reluctantly plays the CON and just wants to get through it. Another Bill Paxton movie, which means another chance to mix up Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman.

Who's ready to dance a jig?! Well, Bruce Willis is going to in the 1991 buddy action movie: The Last Boy Scout

KATRINA- is the PRO and she has never been more ready. This movie is a lot of fun and thanks to her old trusty friend, tequila...this isn't a question of "if" she'll get a button push from Anna, but rather "how many times" it'll happen. Let the games begin!

ANNA- is reluctantly the CON this week and this is gonna be a doozy. Thoughts and Prayers.

Just gonna put this out there...it's never okay to eat a person. Even if they've really got it coming. This week, the sisters are talking skin suits, serial killers, and crocodile eyes with Jonathan Demme's brilliant 1991 thriller: Silence of the Lambs

Happy New Year, everyone! For the first two weeks of the year, the sisters wanted to start off on a positive note so they looked to their most hated movies and decided to cover the much, much, much better versions. First up is Anna and she's going with the 1981 original: Clash of the Titans! Maybe covering this one will help get the 2010 abominable remake taste out of her mouth.

As we near the end of 2022, we couldn't think of a better way to send it off than with Richard Donner's brilliant 1988 Christmas perfection: Scrooged! This is one of our favorite movies of all time, and hopefully this episode will put a little love in your heart.

This week, the sisters celebrate Christmas, 80's animation, lots and lots of booze, and absolute stupidity with 1985's He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special! Take any cinematic seriousness you might have and throw that shit out the window because it will not be needed today.

KATRINA--is somehow able to pull it together and lead the episode as the PRO. No need for trivia with this one; it's all synopsis, all the way.

ANNA--is as ready as anyone can be attacking the Christmas special for an 80's cartoon. She trained extra hard, and by trained, I mean she drank.

Good tidings! The Split Happens December Christmas train is taking a stop in Gotham City to celebrate a bat, a cat, and a disgusting penguin. Err...man penguin. A Manguin. Get your vacuum-sealed, skin tight catsuit and your army of rocket penguins ready because this week is all about Tim Burton's 1992 Batman sequel: Batman Returns!

ANNA- is the PRO and she has been gifted an early Christmas present because this one's gonna be a breeze. With Michael Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Danny DeVito on her side, how could it go wrong? A shockingly bad impression of Christopher Walken might do the trick...

KATRINA- is the CON and she doesn't understand what she did to deserve this; she's been good all year as far as she can remember! It'll be an uphill climb with this one, but she's ready to take it on.

Fah who for-aze! Dah who dor-aze! Welcome everyone to the first submission in the sisters' Christmas movie December! They start off with a divisive children's movie--the 2000 Ron Howard/Jim Carrey version of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Enjoy!

ANNA-is the CON and has one, and only one, trick up her sleeve: Tequila.

Are you ready to talk about a badass dragon with an even badassier name, virgin sacrifices, and a confusingly attractive Peter MacNicol? Because the Split Happens sisters definitely are. This week is a debate about the 1981 fantasy adventure: Dragonslayer starring Peter MacNicol and Caitlin Clarke!

ANNA--is the PRO this time and she is ready to smack any of Katrina's nonsense to the ground, with equally ridiculous nonsense.

KATRINA-is the PRO this week and she is very happy about it, because this movie is very easy to love and tough to attack. Katrina's positive Anna will be coming with bottom-of-the-trash-can critiques and she's ready for it.

ANNA-definitely has terrible takes, but more importantly she wants to apologize to all those who like pistachio ice cream. She didn't mean it. But she stands firm on her hatred for balloons and vomit.
